Azithromycin is a widely used antibiotic that belongs to the class of macrolide antibiotics. It is commonly prescribed to treat a broad range of bacterial infections. Azithromycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which disrupts the growth and multiplication of bacteria, thereby leading to their elimination or reduction in number. It is effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, although its activity varies depending upon the bacterial species. Some common bacterial infections that may be treated with azithromycin include respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and certain sexually transmitted infections.
So this is a frequently asked question these days since the "Curly girl method" has taken us by storm. The answer is this: technically you don't have to wash your HAIR on any particular time line, BUT you should be shampooing 1-2 times a week to cleanse your SCALP. Scalp health seems to be a widely overlooked through out all these new processes and methods coming out. Shampooing at least once a week with help to remove any dead skin cells or product build up to keep your scalp in a healthy state is very important to the hair growth cycles. I typically recommend shampooing your hair at a minimum of once a week with a clarifying shampoo or a shampoo that will PH balance your scalp, but you can use what ever shampoo you like and there are all kinds of new tools to use (like the scalp exfoliating devices I'm sure everyone is seeing beauty influencers use). You can CO Wash (condition cleanse) as often or little as you like but the scalp should be cleansed at least once a week for optimum health.
